Project: 11 Landscape
Reflection:
Express your goals and artistic vision for this project: My goal and artistic vision for this project was to capture natures beauty.

Through my art work I captured shape, color, space. I also captured through my art work was balance, Unity, and Emphasis. The way I did this was by capturing pictures at different angles and different lighting like when the sun was down and when there was a lot of sun. 3. What was your biggest challenge during this project? My biggest challenge for this project was honestly picking the right pictures to use for my final, because I really took a lot of great pictures and this project came with a fun field trip to help me do it. 4. What was your biggest success during this project? My biggest success for this project would have to be capturing good pictures of landscape. 5. How does your final image portray your theme? This portrays to my theme because my theme was really capturing the nature and the beauty of nature , so I think I captured that.
Project 10: Altered Images

Express your goals and artistic vision for this project: My goals and artistic vision for this project was to really capture the emotion to match the theme of my song that I chose. My main point of capturing these pictures was just by looking at it you knew exactly what my theme was.
Discuss your composition. (For example, did you utilize rule of thirds? Is your composition symmetrical? Which elements & principles are evident?): Yes I did utilize the rule of thirds for my picture. My pictures are symmetrical.
What was your biggest challenge during this project? : My biggest challenge for this project was trying to really capture good moments of my model to really capture what my theme was.
What was your biggest success during this project? : My biggest success was actually altering the pictures because I had a certain way I wanted to alter the pictures in mind but wasn't sure how it would turn out but it actually came out really good especially with making one of my pictures black and white.
How does your final image portray your theme? My theme for this project I picked the song Medicine by Queen and in the song she's really talking about relationships and the downfall of being in a relationship and it coming to an end and also having mixed emotions being sad and hurt. So with theme I wanted to really capture that.
Project 9:Magical
Reflection Project 9:
Express your goals and artistic vision for this project. : My artistic goal for this project was to capture images that really made you really take time to look at my image and get a emotion from it. I wanted people to see my image and instantly stop and stare at them. That was my whole artistic and goal for this project.
Discuss your composition. (For example, did you utilize rule of thirds? Is your composition symmetrical? Which elements & principles are evident?): The composition that I utilize throughout my pictures would be the rule of thirds, the elements and principles that are evident are shapes and lines, form space and also value especially in my photo to the right. The principles that are evident are unity and contrast.
What was your biggest challenge during this project? : My biggest challenge during this project was trying to stay still to take the background picture. The reason why this was a challenge because when I did my selective erasing I didn't want not have the main image and background image not match. I had to really be carefully to keep the same lighting when trying to capture it.
What was your biggest success during this project? My biggest success for this project was the right picture because I was pulled out my comfort zone to capture something different and then edit it in a way I had never had before and it came out good.
How does your final image portray your theme? My theme for this was emotion. The way emotion portrays throughout my final images is when you look at it you get a certain emotion to figure out what my image is and what it is portraying or how I even captured the image. For example I asked a classmate to look at my images outside of photography class and he was very amazed with my work.
Reflection: Express your goals and artistic vision for this project: My goals and artistic vision for this project was to really find out more about my peers at George and also to take a picture that where you could see who they really are.
What was your biggest challenge during this project?: My biggest challenge during this project was trying to really get people to open up on some of the interview questions.
What was your biggest success during this project?: What my biggest success during this project was capturing good quality pictures to explain George.
How did you feel interacting with friends and/or strangers for this project: I actually felt comfortable with interacting with people that I may not interact with on a daily.
Project 7 : Self Portrait
Reflection: What does the background or setting say about who you are? The background in my picture is blur following by school doors because I wanted to really on what people see me as when I'm at school. When people see me at school they see a girl that always has a smile on her face but really doesn't know what the real her is like thats why I blurred the back out. What are you trying to convey through your body language? What I'm trying to convey through my body is how I am at school and what other people see when they see me.
Project 6: Space / Places
Reflection: This project consist of your favorite spaces and places. With my project I took picture of spaces and places around the school. I captured the doors because the doors help symbolize whenever I open them I open them to my education which is the path to my success. I wanted to also capture the space around the school because those places I have created memories with my friends. I also captured a picture of a Dr. Pepper can because my dad loved Dr. Pepper and it was just laying there in one of my spaces so I decided to capture because it meant something to me. I did a little research and found a photographer that captured a picture of a pop can and she surrounded it by spaces of nature and the pop can was actually a shape of a camera. Her name is Kathryn Luna she inspired me to try to take a picture like hers. The technique that I used to capture my place was actually moving the camera around to capture every little piece of the space. The artist that inspired me I can tell she used the same technique as me because she captured every little part of the picture.
Project 5 :Movement
Reflection:How were you able to capture movement? -I was able to capture this picture by having the camera on tv.
Express your deeper meaning and vision for your final image. - My deep meaning and vision for my final image was to create a picture showing movement you do on a daily basis for example like walking.
List and elaborate on which art elements and principles of design you utilized in your composition. - My art elements and and principles of design shown in my work is value and one shows balance and the other shows lines and blur.
Explain an area you feel is successful, and why. Explain an area that has room for growth, and why. - An area I feel successful in would be showing lines and movement and color in my photos. An area for growth would have to be working on texture.
Project 4: Light Paintings
Reflection:
How were you able to capture a light trail? Explain the camera settings: The way I was able to capture light trail was by turning the light off and then putting the setting on the camera to manual and then adjusting the speed dial to control how much light goes into the picture.
Express your deeper meaning and vision for your final image: The deeper meaning and vision of the picture I edited was that it expresses me as a person because I am loving and I care a lot.
List and elaborate on which art elements and principles of design you utilized in your photograph: The elements that are being shown in my image is color because the color makes the picture pop, also lines because when you look at the picture you automatically see lines being expressed. Another element would have to be shapes.
Explain an area you feel is successful, and why: An area I feel successful in would be actually being able to capture a picture like this.
Explain an area that has room for growth, and why. An area for growth for me would be to start really thinking about more elements I can capture through my pictures.
Project 3: TRIPTYCH PORTRAITS - EXQUISITE CORPSES
Reflection: Explain what you learned & strengthened throughout this unit (think, composition, elements, principles, triptych....):
What I learned throughout this project was how to capture the same image multiple times but in different ways. What Strengthen throughout this project was my composition. Explain the strongest part of your work: The strongest part of my work was me finding new ways to capture a moment. Explain an area that has room for growth: An area that has room for growth would be my editing skills.

Reflection: 1). What are your top 10 photos? : My top 10 photos are the pictures would be the 5 flower pictures and the 1 piece of plant on the ground. Another photo would have to be the picture of the paint brushes in the cup, the vitamin water laying on the chair, the brick wall picture.
2) Which picture demonstrates the rules of thirds the best? : The one with the paint brushes demonstrates the rule of thirds the best.
3). What is your favorite art element?: My favorite are element has to be color.
4). What is your favorite principle of design ?: My favorite principle of design has to be texture.
